ABOUT
Our Nurse Assistant, Long-Term Care course is designed to prepare students for a career in nursing. Students learn about basic nursing care, emergency procedures, communication, and how to work effectively as a member of a health care team.
In order to participate in clinical experience and to qualify for the National Nurse Aid Assessment Program (NNAAP) examination, students must do the following: have a passing grade; possess and present a valid, government-issued photo ID and Social Security card; have a negative TB test and physical exam; complete CPR training; and have a clear fingerprint/background check.

Students must successfully pass the NNAAP CNA examination written and manual skills portions (retakes are additional charge). A passing score on this exam is required for state certification.

Requirements:
1)Driver’s License or Passport /Social security card or Tax ID Number (TIN) letter from IRS
2)Physical exam with TB test results required with in 1st week of class
3) Live scans Fingerprint. Must be 16 years and older, NO GED REQUIRED
Note: Attendance for Theory and Clinicals is going to be important part of the training, any make up days will be discussed with the Instructors to complied with state regulation and get signed off to take state boards.
