ABOUT
Our Nurse Assistant, Long-Term Care course is designed to prepare students for a career in nursing. Students learn about basic nursing care, emergency procedures, communication, and how to work effectively as a member of a health care team.

In order to participate in clinical experience and to qualify for the National Nurse Aid Assessment Program (NNAAP) examination, students must do the following: have a passing grade; possess and present a valid, government-issued photo ID and Social Security card; have a negative TB test and physical exam; complete CPR training; and have a clear fingerprint/background check.

Students must successfully pass the NNAAP CNA examination written and manual skills portions (retakes are additional charge). A passing score on this exam is required for state certification.
